Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These terms set out the agreement between you and Yourtracks for using the app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. We've kept them straightforward — please read them.
1. What Yourtracks is
Yourtracks is a backing-track player and library organiser for gigging vocalists. It lets you store, organise, and play your own backing tracks and karaoke files from your device, with optional cloud backup of your library information. It's a performance tool — not a music store, a streaming service, or a file-sharing platform.
2. Your account
- You must be 16 or older to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account.
- One account per person. Don't share your login with others.
- Provide accurate information when you register. You can update your performer name and details in your profile at any time.
3. Your content
You are responsible for the tracks, lyrics, and other content you upload to Yourtracks. By using the app, you confirm that:
- You own the rights to the backing tracks and files you upload, or you have permission to use them.
- Your use of the app doesn't infringe anyone else's copyright or other rights.
- You're using the tracks for your own personal performance — not distributing them to others or broadcasting them publicly in a way that requires a separate licence.
Yourtracks doesn't check or verify the rights to your files. That responsibility is yours. If we receive a valid copyright complaint about content in your library, we may suspend the relevant features or your account.
4. How you may use the app
- Use Yourtracks for your own performances and practice.
- Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the app beyond what it provides.
- Don't use the app to store or play content that's illegal in your country.
- Don't attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Don't overload or disrupt the service — this is a tool for performers, not a platform to build other services on.
5. Shared setlists
If you share a setlist, you create a public link. You're responsible for the content of what you share — song titles, performer name, and event details. Don't share setlists that contain content you don't have the right to display. You can stop sharing a setlist at any time.
6. Subscriptions and payments
If Yourtracks offers paid subscriptions, payments are processed by Base44 Payments (powered by Wix). By subscribing, you agree to Wix's payment terms and the displayed price and billing cycle. You can cancel a subscription at any time; it remains active until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
7. The app is provided "as is"
Yourtracks is a tool built by performers, and we work hard to make it reliable — especially for live use. But we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every possible situation. You use it at your own risk. At a gig, always have a backup plan (a charged device, a second copy of critical tracks). The app is not a substitute for your own preparation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yourtracks is not liable for any loss of data, loss of income, or disruption to a performance resulting from use of the app. You're responsible for maintaining your own backups (cloud backup is provided as a convenience, not a guarantee) and for ensuring your device is charged and functional before a gig.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings — the moment you confirm, all your data is permanently wiped and you're signed out. You can also request deletion by emailing us from your registered address; either way, it's completed within 30 days. If you delete your account while a subscription is active, the subscription continues until the end of its billing period — cancel it separately if you don't want to be charged again.
10. Changes to the app and these terms
We update Yourtracks regularly to improve it. We may change features, add new ones, or remove old ones. We'll update these terms if material changes are needed; the "last updated" date will reflect that. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't, you can delete your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
12. Contact
